I have been a smoker for the last 15 years of my life. I have tried many times to quit and nothing seemed to be working?I needed a fresh start and I needed it fast!! In today's day and age most people know that smoking is bad for you, but what most smokers don't pay attention to are the benefits of quitting. And there are actual benefits to putting out the light for good. By quitting I immediately improved my chance to live longer and I reduced the chance of developing heart disease and cancer.

As if improving my life expectancy and reducing my chance of illness wasn't enough, there was another huge factor nagging at me. The cost of continuing this habit was becoming unbearable. No more having to buy cigarettes, lighters, ashtrays, or body sprays to cover up the nasty smell of my clothes. With the ever-rising cost of gas, cigarette prices aren't about to go down either.
Along with getting my freedom to save or send my money as I choose something else came back to me, my sense of taste and smell. I never realized how much I was missing out on until I got it back. I actually enjoy my food more and I also feel younger,

I have more energy to do the things I love. Walks in the park, running, and long bike rides were activities I would avoid because it was too hard to breathe and I felt guilty for wanting to light up a smoke. Now, because of my fresh start I don't have to feel guilty anymore I can enjoy all the things I love to do.
